The pantry of the sea
Marine grain comes from an Aponiente research project to cultivate the seagrass Zostera marina under controlled conditions. For the first time in history, this crop has been achieved in the Bay of Cadiz, opening a new path for food, ecosystem restoration, and climate response.
On this site you will find information about what marine grain is, its nutritional benefits, the sustainable cultivation method, and donation initiatives linked to the project.
